Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 6:30 P.M., Most Holy Trinity Church will host an interfaith worship service, honoring our military service men and women. We also will pray for the families of thousands of innocent civilians, along with all the other soldiers, reports and non-military personnel who have lost live sin all the military conflicts.The U.S. Navel Sea Cadet Corps., Edson Division, invites everyone to a Hospitality Reception immediately following the Service in the church hall. Everyone is welcomed! Show your support for our servicemen and women! Remember to bring your donations that will go into the CARE PACKAGES for the troops !!!

On Pentecost Sunday, May 27, a Pentecost Celebration will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Archdiocesan Center at St. Thomas Seminary, 467 Bloomfield Avenue , Bloomfield . Praise and Worship music by Steve Gignac will precede the celebration of the Eucharist, presided by Rev. Robert Rousseau, pastor of St. Augustine Church , North Branford . All are welcome! JOIN THE EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION ON THE FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI , SUNDAY, JUNE 10 There will be a special outdoor Eucharistic Procession on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Sunday, June 10, 2007. We will begin at SS. Peter and Paul Church ( 239 North Orchard Street ) at 4:00 in the afternoon. The procession will take place through the streets of the town to Most Holy Trinity Church . Along the way, various stations will afford opportunities for prayer and Benediction. KIDS 4 JESUS PROGRAM will meet on Monday, June 4 from 3:30-5:00 PM at the Parish Center . K4J is a monthly program that excites kids about practicing virtues such as friendship, respect, careful speech, and obedience. It gets the kids to think about and account for their behavior and helps parents to keep kids on track through games, races, and crafts that relate to the virtue and saint of the month. The Archdiocesan Office of Religious Education is now taking registration for adult bible classes beginning in September, 2007. Registration period: May 15-August 15. You are urged to attend this business meeting/social to discuss plans and changes for this, OUR 27TH ANNUAL PARISH BAZAAR. Following the meeting everyone is invited to stay for Pizza, Soda, Beer and Wine. A lot of planning goes into this meeting for the purpose of keeping everyone “in the know”. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND! This is also the best time to see Linda Citak, Personnel Chairperson, if you need workers. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THIS IMPORTANT MATTER TO THE LAST MINUTE!!!

“DUNKEES WANTED”!!! Kim Pisani, captain of the ‘DUNKIN’ BOOTH” at the bazaar, again is making her unusual but FUN request. As Captain she needs plenty of volunteers throughout the week that are willing to get “dunked”. In order to keep her booth in operation every night of the Bazaar as well as at the Matinee she needs to schedule the “dunkees”. So…all “good sports” in the parish who are willing to help Kim… are asked to please give her a call as soon as possible @ 269-0546.

BAZAAR RAFFLE UPDATE!!! As of this past Monday, 3,284 raffle tickets have been sold totaling $ 16,420.00 in sales! Ticket returns – sold and/or unsold – may be mailed to the rectory @ 68 North Colony Street , placed in the offertory collection, brought to the rectory and dropped in the mail slot on the front door or brought to the Raffle Booth when you come to the bazaar. To those who have made their returns the Bazaar Raffle Committee, Chairperson Kevin and Marie Buno, wish to thank you for your consideration. Remember… the success of the raffle is important to the parish.

DONATION DROP-OFFS !!! Groceries, to be given away as prizes for the MONTH GAME at the bazaar, may be left in church near the statue of Saint Joseph . Arts & Crafts for the Country Store… Jewelry…. Plants…. may be brought to the rectory during office hours. AND DON’T FORGET TO BAKE DURING THE WEEK OF THE WEEK OF THE BAZAAR. Many, many, (we never have enough) baked goods – cakes, cookies, brownies, pies, breads – are needed to be given away as prizes at the BINGO game. These, too, can be brought to the rectory during office hours or brought directly to the game booth. Both the Month Game and the Bingo Game depend on your donations in order to make 100% profit.

Advance sales at the rectory will end at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1.Sheets of Food Tickets (20 one dollar tickets) will be SOLD IN ADVANCE FOR $18.00… AT A $2.00 SAVINGS!!! This offer will be given on the same dates and times as the advance sale of ride tickets and like the ride tickets will end following the Spanish Mass on Sunday, June 3.
