PRE-BAPTISM CLASSES – Classes are held on the last Tuesday of each month, with few exceptions. The next class is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, at 7:00 PM in the Church. Parents or soon-to-be-parents MUST BE REGISTERED MEMBERS OF HOLY TRINITY PARISH. Those wishing to attend a Tuesday class must call the rectory to register. 

TV MASS TAPING, MONDAY, JUNE 11- Father Jeff will be the celebrant for the Saturday morning TV Mass, which will be taped this Monday, June 11. Anyone wishing to attend the taping is asked to join the car pool leaving our parking lot, promptly leaving at 10 AM, to the Archdiocesan Office of Radio & Television TV studio on Peach Orchard Road , in Prospect.

“NEW DAY” / OUR PARISH BEREVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP will get together on June 13 and June 27. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM at the Parish Center . CHARISMATIC MASS will be celebrated in the church on Monday, June 18th at 7:00 PM. Everyone is invited to attend.

ATTENTION GARDENERS !!!  It’s time to get things spruced up in the church gardens! Can you spare some time? Volunteers are needed to clean out the brush and withered flowers and get the soil ready for planting. Anyone who can lend a hand… especially a “green thumb” is asked to call Pauline Palmero and leave her a message at 269-0419. IT’S A GOOD THING!

Celebrate the Glory of the Lord !!!

JOIN THE EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION ON THE FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI,

TODAY, SUNDAY, JUNE 10   4PM ! 

There will be a special outdoor Eucharistic Procession on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Sunday, June 10, 2007. We will begin at SS. Peter and Paul Church ( 239 North Orchard Street ) at 4:00 in the afternoon. The procession will take place through the streets of the town to Most Holy Trinity Church . Along the way, various stations will afford opportunities for prayer and Benediction. Come and join us for this beautiful public profession of our faith and unique opportunity to ask God’s blessings on our town. Church ministries, and parish committees and organizations are encouraged to participate with members of their group. Contact Fr. Jeff for information or other details about celebrating this great feast.

June 11th is Grade 8 Class Night in the church hall from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. 

June 12th is Field Day for grades K-6 at Doolittle Park and Class Trip day for grades 7 & 8. 

The last day of school for Kindergarten and Grade 8 students is June 12th. 

June 13-June 15 are shortened days and the students will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m. each day. 

Casual Day is June 13th for GRADE FOUR only, this was a prize won during the Catholic School ’s Week trivia contest. 

Graduation Mass for Eighth Graders will be June 14 at 7:00 pm. 

June 15th is the Holy Trinity School Golf Tournament at Traditions Golf course. 

Last day of school for grades 1-7 is June 15th. 

June 16th is a tag sale to benefit Holy Trinity School will be held in the school parking lot on Center Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. 

A School Board Meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM, June 18 in the Parish Center . 

HOLY TRINITY SCHOOL HAS OPENINGS available for the 2007-2008 School year in selected grades. Parents are asked to contact Sister Katie Kelly, R.S.M., Principal, at 269-4476 for further information.  

FATHER’S DAY SPIRITUAL BOUQUET CARDS are available at the rectory until Friday, June 15. The cards are $1.00. Remembrances for deceased fathers are free. The Father’s Day Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, June 17 at 9:00 AM.

OPTIONS FOR ADOPTION SUPPORT GROUP meets on the third Sunday of the month. Those families who have already adopted or families interested in learning the adoption process are encouraged to attend the next meeting to be held at the Parish Center on Sunday, June 17, from 3:00-5:00 PM. THE ALTAR CARE COMMITTEE NEEDS YOUR ASSISTANCE…Everyone likes a prepared table and a clean house and volunteers are needed for a short time on Wednesday mornings to help clean up God’s house…. our church. Just a little bit of dusting, vacuuming, polishing, window wiping, sweeping, etc. is all that is needed. If you feel you can help our coordinator, Ginny DeBaise and friends, please give her a call at 269-3788.

“WONDERS OF ITALY ” IN JUNE 2008

WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT EUCHARISTIC YOUTH HIKE

For Junior High and High School Students

The great adventure will begin with a “Survivor” style hike. You and your peers will be separated into small tribes that need to overcome various obstacles. There will be special prizes for the winning tribe, and the hike will conclude with Mass at the top of the mountain. For the feast of the Transfiguration.

ROSARY GARDEN PRAYER AT SS. PETER & PAUL - In 1917, Our Lady appeared to three children in Fatima , Portugal . She encouraged all to recite the Rosary for conversion and reparation of sins. Our Blessed Lady appeared on the 13th of the month from May to October. On Wednesday, June 13 at 6:00 PM, the Rosary will be recited in the garden ( North Orchard Street , Wallingford ). In case of rain, the Rosary will be recited in SS. Peter and Paul Church at the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Please be sure to bring a lawn chair. All are welcome to come and join us.
