SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR MISSIONARY CO-OP On the weekend og August 18-19, Most Holy Trinity Parish will be visited by a representative from the Diocese of Banjul, The Gambia, West Africa . The population is over one million people there, who are nearly all Muslim. There are only about 20,000 Catholics. The Church’s impact on a Muslim nation has been enormous in the educational and medical fields. For over 100 years the Holy Ghost Fathers, Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny , and other Religious Orders have labored there. Indigenous vocations have blossomed; and there are Gambian Priests, native Sisters and strong growing Laity. Please support this needy Diocese in one of the poorest countries in the world.
