PRE-BAPTISM CLASSES – The next class is scheduled for Tuesday, November 27, at 7:00 PM in the Church Hall. Parents or soon-to-be-parents MUST BE REGISTERED MEMBERS OF HOLY TRINITY PARISH. Those wishing to attend a Tuesday class must call the rectory to register, 269-8791.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION - On Sunday, November 18th, the Marriage Seminar which takes place after the couples attend the 9:00 AM Mass. PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR ENGAGED COUPLES AS THEY GROW IN LOVE FOR EACH OTHER AND AS THEY PREPARE TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE IN CHRIST.

MASS IN HONOR OF ALL VETERANS, living and deceased will be celebrated on Monday, November 12, Veterans Day, at 8:30 AM. We pray for God to bless them; and for all those presently serving in our armed forces.

PUT YOUR TWO-CENTS IN AT THE LADIES SOCIETY OF HOLY TRINITY MEETING & PENNY AUCTION on Monday, November 12 at 1:00 PM in the Church Hall. The hostesses for the meeting will be Delia Mrazik and Marie Murphy. Come bring a friend and a prize to auction. The Ladies Society meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 1 PM. PARISH COUNCIL MEMBERS will meet in the Church Hall on Tuesday, November 13, at 7:00 PM.

THANKSGIVING SORTING & BASKET PACKING will be done by the Christians In Action Committee in the Church Hall on Wednesday, November 14th at 6:30 PM.

THERE IS STILL A NEED FOR FROZEN TURKEYS . Please bring your frozen turkey donation to the rectory during office hours. NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS can be left by the statue of St. Joseph or the statue of Blessed Mother by the elevator.

If you cannot get out and shop, MONETARY DONATIONS OR GROCERY GIFT CARDS are also welcome to help defray the cost of perishable items included in the baskets. These donations can be made by putting them in an envelope marked “ HOLIDAY GIVING” in the collection basket or can be dropped off at the rectory or put through the mail slot on the rectory front door.

BASKET DELIVERIES will be made by John Dichello and his “Crew” on Saturday, November 17th between the hours of 8 AM to Noon. If you know a parish family or parish individual needing a basket for the holiday, please call the rectory by Tuesday, November 13th at 269-8791. Thank you for feeding the Lambs of Jesus!

THE PARISH IS LOOKING FOR A FREEZER CHEST. If you have a working freezer chest that you are no longer in need of and you would like to donate it to the parish, please call the rectory office at 269-8791. The parish freezers gets tight this time of year and the added freezer space will help us relieve overcrowding of your donated turkeys! Thank you!

TRINITY LADIES CLUB will be meeting in the Church Hall on Thursday, November 15 at 6:30 PM. An Advent/Christmas Presentation will be given by Father Gary. There will be a social hour after. Members are reminded that reservation can be made and paid to Barbara Souza for the TLC Christmas Dinner at this meeting.

YOUTH GROUP (for high school students) will be having the Thanksgiving Pot Luck Supper and Game Night on Sunday, November 18th from 5:00-8:30 PM in the Parish Center .

DYNAMIC DISCIPLES (our junior high school students in Grades 6-8) will have their meeting changed to Sunday, November 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Parish Center . All junior high students are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION There are NO CCD classes on Monday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 13 due to Veteran’s Day. The CCD Christmas Toy, Food and Gift Drive begins for classes on Saturday, November 17, Monday, November 19 and Tuesday, November 20. All students and parents are urged to participate by making donation of food, gifts, and NEW unwrapped toys to the needy of our parish! Items may be brought to the Religious Education Office. The Drive will run until Tuesday, December 4. Breads for the Thanksgiving Day Liturgy will be baked on Saturday, November 17th in the Church Hall. The CCD Office will be closed on Wednesday, November 21.

SUNDAY BIBLE SCHOOL WILL NOT BE IN SESSION for the next 2 weeks due to events in the hall and for the holiday. The next session will be on Sunday, December 2nd during the 9:00 AM Mass.

Veterans Day will be observed on Monday, November 12. There will be no school.

The School Board will meet in the Faculty Lounge at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 14.

There will be 12:25 PM dismissals on Thursday and Friday, November 15th and 16th for parent/teacher conferences.

Fall Clean-up Day will take place on school grounds on Saturday, November 17th from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. All help is appreciated.

On Sunday, November 18 there will be the Children’s Liturgy at the 9:00 AM Mass.

OPTIONS FOR ADOPTION GROUP meets on the third Sunday of the month. Those families who have already adopted or families interested in learning the adoption process are encouraged to attend the next meeting to be held at the Parish Center on Sunday, November 18, from 3:00-5:00 PM. INTER-FAITH THANKSGIVING SERVICE “Give Thanks to the Lord for He is good” An Inter-Faith Thanksgiving Service will take place on Tuesday evening, November 20, 2007 at 7:30 P.M., in the Yalesville United Methodist Church , Route 68 (next to Yalesville School ) in Yalesville.
