OUR GIVING TREE IS BLOOMING WITH “ANGEL” TAGS… … be an angel and take one home! (Or, perhaps, one tag for each hand, as we say!) Each tag represents a wondrous gift and a special blessing to someone on Christmas Day who might not otherwise have one. This weekend November 25 and 26, the parish “GIVING TREE”, by the statue of St. Joseph, is for the convenience of anyone wishing to HELP MAKE SOMEONE’S CHRISTMAS A LITTLE BRIGHTER THIS YEAR!!! Suggestion tags will be hanging from the tree boughs, for the purpose of helping to meet the needs of those less fortunate. We ask everyone who is planning to participate to go up to the tree and remove a tag (or tags) that best describes a Christmas present for a needy parishioner, convalescent home resident, residents of St. Agnes Home for unwed mothers and their babies, and for organizations: Birthright, SCOW (Spanish Community of Wallingford), Wallingford Emergency Shelter or Catholic Family Services. Please bring the gift, WRAPPED, with the suggestion tag taped to the outside of the package (letting us know what’s in the package!) no later than Sunday, December 10. It is necessary that this drive end early in order that time be given to the Christians In Action Committee and friends to sort beginning, Wednesday, December 13 and deliver on Saturday, December 16. Merry Christmas to all!

We thank you for your patience and understanding in not being able to enter the church through the elevator during this time.
