HELP US KEEP OUR CHURCH CLEAN!

Recently the floors under the pews have been washed and waxed as well as all the carpets have been shampooed. We now ask your assistance in helping us keep our church neat and clean. We ask parents of young children in the cry rooms, to please keep careful watch and remove any food items that you might bring with you. Your assistance will insure us of preserving the beauty and dignity of our church. Thank you!

THE CHURCH IS A “NO-NO ZONE” FOR:

CELL PHONES and BEEPERS please silence your cell phone or beeper, or leave it in the car.

CHEWING GUM – please place your gum in a wrapper and discard it in the wastebaskets before you enter church

CUPS & BOTTLES – should not be brought to church or left behind.

TALKING IN CHURCH BEFORE and AFTER MASS – please keep in mind that your brothers and sisters in Christ are praying. Enjoy your conversation outside. Thank you!

While in CHURCH it is essential that each one of us take the time to be thoughtful and reverent for it is the House of God.

THE SECOND COLLECTION NEXT WEEKEND WILL BE TAKEN UP FOR SOUTHERN U.S. CHURCHES

This special collection on August 26-27 focuses on rebuilding churches, schools, and other essential parts of the parishes’ infrastructure, which are needed to rebuild people’s hope. Rebuilding the Church and her structures is critically important now, as many civil jurisdictions declare that they are no longer able to assist those who were displaced by the 2005 hurricanes, and will be unable to do so in the future. Help rebuild the Church and rebuild hope in New Orleans and Biloxi on August 26-27. The need is great. And your participation can make a difference. Please be as generous as possible.

BINGO will be held in our air-conditioned church hall on Friday, August 25. The game begins at 7:00 PM.
