greatly appreciated. Thank you!

A RENEWAL FOR MEN
IN THE PARISH WITH A RETREAT:
“FOR THE LIFE OF THE WORLD”
The voice of God may be difficult to discern until we “come away and rest for
a while”. This retreat gives men a break from everyday life and gives them a
chance to restore connection to God, THE ultimate source of strength. Holy
Family retreats offer prayer services, workshops, private conferences and free
time to reflect rest and pray. Our annual parish retreat for men is the weekend
of September 22-24. For more information call Mike Gannon at 265-7258 or Holy
Family Passionist Retreat Center at 1-860-521-0440 or on the web at
www.holyfamilyretreat.org
WE WELCOME OUR
STUDENTS, TEACHERS, AND STAFF
BACK TO SCHOOL on AUGUST 31
May God Bless You
With a Great Academic Year !
Study
well – Stay safe – Share much - Pray often – Be happy
THE HOLY TRINITY ADULT CHOIR will begin their regular rehearsals on
Wednesday, September 6th at 7:30 PM in the choir loft. We are looking
for new members in every voice part. There are no “formal” auditions, just call
and speak with Rick Fowler, Director of Music Ministry. His office phone number
is 284-1745. Rehearsals are every Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 PM and
then the choir sings on Sunday at the 10:30 AM Mass. You need not have a “solo
voice”, only a willingness to be at rehearsals and take an active part in this
important ministry of the parish. Several of the choir members have moved out of
the area, so it is very important that we be able to increase our membership in
order to produce the quality of music that the parish has become accustomed to.
Please give joining the choir your consideration.
A BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO OUR BLOOD DONORS! The American Red Cross and our
Christians in Action Committee are happy to report there were 117 donors who
signed up to donate at the Bloodmobile on August 16. There were 87 whole blood
units received plus 16 double red units, which totaled 103 productive units 108%
of the 95 units that were forecasted for the drive. God bless you for your
sacrifice.
