IN OUR PARISH

Over the summer months, the Buildings and Maintenance Committee has met to prioritize some very necessary repairs to our parish plant. In consultation with the Parish Finance Committee, we have begun doing some of these repairs. The first building that needed a new roof was the parish garage. The work included removing the old shingles, replacing some of the rotted deck and putting new shingles on the roof as well as gutters. The total cost for this project was $6,500.00. The second project that had to be done was replacing the roof on the sunroom of the rectory. The old roof was removed and in some areas a new wood deck had to be installed. New shingles completed the job. At present, the upper part of the rectory is being painted and repaired. Again, some of the wood has rotted and is being placed. The total cost for this project was $14,500.00. Very shortly, the drainage problem on the south side of the church will be addressed. The water from the church gutters on the South side over flow onto the sidewalks and other areas thus causing some serious erosion, especially to the stone foundation of the church. We hope to begin this repair during the month of October before the ground freezes. It is hoped that this will prevent excess water from accumulating near the sidewalks and freezing during the winter months. The Buildings and Maintenance Committee felt it was important that you the parishioners of Most Holy Trinity Parish be kept inform as to what is happening in our parish and to our parish buildings. We thank you for your continued support of our parish.

Warren for the beautiful new funeral vestment and funeral pall that have been given to Most Holy Trinity Church for Funeral Masses.
